Data Retention Policy
Upon subscription termination, customers are strongly advised to download and back up all HR-related data (including employee profiles, payroll, attendance, leave, and claims) before the account is closed.
Pandahrms will retain all personal and HR data for 60 days from the termination date. During this period:
- Customers may request account reactivation.
- After 60 days, all data will be permanently deleted, and recovery will no longer be possible.
As per statutory requirements in Malaysia (e.g., Income Tax Act 1967, EPF/SOCSO/EIS regulations), customers are responsible for keeping HR and payroll records for a minimum of 7 years for audit, tax, and legal compliance.
Pandahrms will not be liable for any data loss or compliance issues after the 60-day retention period.
This policy complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), which mandates that personal data be retained only for as long as necessary for its intended purpose.
